April 18, 2026 – Kimchi Warrior, the animated series created by filmmaker Young Man Kang, has been officially selected for screening at the 1st Buyeo International History Film Festival, held in Buyeo, South Korea—an ancient city known for its rich Baekje heritage.
The screening will take place on May 4 at 10:00 AM at the Buyeo Youth Center.
Notably, this marks the first time in approximately 15 years that Kimchi Warrior has been officially invited and screened at a film festival in Korea, adding special significance to the occasion.
