【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시청자미디어센터가 장애인의 날을 맞아 특수학급 학생들을 위한 미디어 체험 프로그램을 선보인다.
센터는 신아중학교, 시지중학교, 경산중학교 특수학급 학생 31명을 대상으로 미디어 원데이 클래스를 운영한다고 20일 밝혔다.
이번 프로그램은 디지털 드로잉을 활용해 학생들이 자신의 일상을 그림일기 형식으로 표현하는 체험형 교육으로 꾸며진다.
참가 학생들은 스마트 기기와 드로잉 도구를 이용해 직접 콘텐츠를 제작했다. 또, 단계별 실습과 보조 인력의 지원을 통해 누구나 쉽게 참여할 수 있도록 도왔다.
완성된 작품은 센터 내 전시공간인 ‘창작의 장’에 전시되며, 시민들에게 무료로 공개된다.
센터 관계자는 “미디어 교육은 기술 습득에 머무르지 않고, 자기 표현의 기회를 넓히는 과정”이라며 “특수학급 학생들이 디지털 환경에 자연스럽게 다가설 수 있도록 앞으로도 지원을 강화하겠다”고 말했다.

The Daegu Citizens Media Center is presenting a media experience program for students in special education classes to mark the Day of Persons with Disabilities.
The Center announced on the 20th that it will operate a one-day media class for 31 students from special education classes at Shin-a Middle School, Siji Middle School, and Gyeongsan Middle School.
This program is designed as an experiential education session where students express their daily lives in the form of picture diaries using digital drawing.
