브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19)으로 입원 중인 도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령이 이르면 내일 퇴원할 수도 있다고 의료진이 발표했다.
트럼프 대통령 의료팀 소속 의사 브라이언 가발디는 4일(현지시간) 유튜브로 생중계된 기자회견에서 "우리는 이르면 내일 (트럼프 대통령) 퇴원을 계획하길 희망한다"라고 밝혔다.
가발디는 트럼프 대통령의 현재 병세에 대해 일어나 돌아다닐 수 있을 정도로 안정적이라며 퇴원하면 백악관에서 계속 치료할 수 있다고 덧붙였다.
가발디는 "대통령은 어제저녁 렘데시비르 2차 투약을 마쳤다"라며 "부작용 가능성을 모니터링해왔고, (현재까진) 말할 만한 부작용은 겪지 않고 있다. 계속해서 렘데시비르 5일 코스 적용을 계획하고 있다"고 전했다.
