브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이낙연 더불어민주당 대표가 6대 그룹 사장단을 만난 자리에서 정부여당이 추진하는 공정경제 3법(상법·공정거래법·금융그룹감독법)을 바꾸기 어렵다고 밝혔다.
재계는 경제 3법을 전면 반대하며 법안 도입을 미뤄달라 제안했지만 이낙연 대표는 "기업들을 골탕을 먹이기 위한 것이 아니다"라고 이들을 달랬다.
이 대표는 이날 오전 서울 마포구 한국경영자총협회 회관에서 손경식 경총 회장을 비롯한 6대그룹 사장단과 만난 자리에서 "분명한 것은 공정경제3법은 오래된 현안이고 우리 기업의 건전성을 높이기 위한 것"이라며 이같이 말했다.
이 자리에는 이인용 삼성전자 사장, 공영운 현대자동차 사장, 장동현SK사장, 황현식 LG유플러스 사장, 오성엽 롯데지주 사장, 김창범 한화솔루션 부회장 등이 참석했다.
손경식 회장은 다중대표소송제도 신설, 공정거래위원회의 전속고발권 폐지, 대형 금융그룹 감독 강화 등을 골자로 한 공정경제3법과 관련한 우려를 드러냈다.
손 회장은 "코로나 위기를 조속히 극복하고 포스트 코로나를 선도하려면 기업을 살리고 경쟁력 높이는 제도 개선이 필요하다"며 "그런데 국회에는 기업경영과 투자에 제약을 가하고 부담을 늘리는 법안이 많이 제출돼있어 경제계의 걱정이 크다"고 지적했다.
구체적으로는 ▲기업 경영권 행사 제약 및 해외 투기자본 및 경쟁기업에 의한 경영권 침해 ▲전속고발권 폐기로 즉각적 사법수사 착수시 기업 이미지 훼손 ▲다중대표소송제 도입시 과도한 경영간섭 및 소송 남발 가능성 등을 짚었다.
이밖에 국제노동기구(ILO) 핵심협약 비준을 위한 노동조합법 개정에도 우려를 드러냈다.
그러면서 "이번 국회에서는 기업하기 좋은 환경 조성과 투자 활성화를 위한 사안을 중점적으로 다뤄주고 시급하지 않은 경제 제도에 관한 사항들은 경제가 정상화된 이후에 중장기적으로 다뤄달라"면서 "대표와 여당에서 경제계의 입장을 호의적으로 고려해줄 것으로 기대한다"고 했다.
이낙연 대표는 이같은 우려에 대해 "기업의 우려를 듣고 함께할 건 함께하고 또 부분적으로 보완할 게 있으면 보완하겠다"면서 "다만 (공정경제3법) 이걸 늦추거나 방향을 바꾸거나 하기는 어렵다"고 강조했다.
이 대표는 또 "경제3법은 아주 오래된 현안이고 우리 기업의 건강성을 높여드리기 위한 것"이라며 "기업을 골탕 먹이기 위한 법안이 아니다”라고 설명했다.
그러면서 "우리가 곧 대화의 시기나 장소같은 것을 알려드리고 그런 자리를 마련하도록 하겠다"고 덧붙였다.
이 대표는 이날 간담회 직후 기자들과 만난 자리에서도 기존 방침을 고수할 뜻을 분명히 했다. '경제 3법을 이번 정기국회 내 처리하겠다는 원칙이 유지되느냐'는 기자들의 질문에 "그렇다"면서 "하지만 한국 기업이 외국 헤지펀드의 표적이 되는 일은 막고 싶다. 앞으로 구체적으로 논의해 나갈 것"이라고 말했다.
