브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이재명 경기도지사는 23일 "이러니 국민의 짐 소리 듣는 것"이라며 김은혜 국민의힘 의원을 비판했다.
이 지사는 이날 자신의 페이스북을 통해 "김은혜 의원이 언론을 통해 '경기도가 봉현물류단지 사업과 관련해 애시당초 국토부에 자원조달계획 자문을 요청한 사실이 없다'고 밝혔다. 모 언론은 이를 사실확인 없이 보도하며 '경기도, 국감서 옵티머스 의혹 거짓 증언 정황 드러나'라고 제목을 달았다"고 밝혔다.
이 지사는 이어 "경기도는 지난 4월8일 국토부에 공문을 보내 자금조달계획 변경에 따른 실수요 검증을 받아야 되는지 말아야 되는지 '검토 요청'을 했다. 또한 이에 대하여 전문가의 '자문 의견'도 구했다"며 "그래서 경기도 담당부서장은 국감장에서 '자금조달계획 자문을 받은 일이 있느냐'는 김은혜 의원 질문에 '받은 기억이 있다'고 말한 것이다"라고 반박했다.
그는 "그런데 이를 두고 '실수요 검증에 대한 자문이었는데 왜 자금조달계획 자문을 받았다고 거짓증언했냐'고 따지거나 '국토부에 검토 요청을 한 거지 왜 자문 요청을 했다고 거짓증언했냐'고 따지는 건 말꼬투리 잡고 싸우자는 것 밖에는 안된다"고 꼬집었다.
이 지사는 또한 "달을 가리켰냐 해를 가리켰냐가 쟁점인데, 달을 손가락으로 가리켰냐 손바닥으로 가리켰냐를 가지고 따져서야 무슨 문제해결이 되겠나"라며 "김 의원은 미미한 표현상의 문제를 악의적으로 왜곡하고 사실을 조작하고 있다. 뻔한 내용을 가지고 말꼬투리 잡아 침소봉대하며 왜곡 조작하는 것은 실력이 없거나 악의적이거나 둘 중 하나이다. 그러니 '국민의 짐' 소리를 듣는 것이다"라고 비난했다.
이어 그는 "국민의힘이 정말로 국민에게 힘이 되는 정당으로 거듭나길 바란다"며 "국민께 대안을 제시할 수 있는 제1야당으로서 여당과 '잘하기 경쟁'을 하는 모습을 보고 싶다. 그저 짐만 되고 있는 제1야당의 현실이 국민의 한 사람으로서 너무도 안타깝다"고 했다.
앞서 김은혜 의원은 한 언론을 통해 경기도 국감에서 이재명 경기지사를 상대로 질의한 내용과 확보한 문건 등을 종합했을 때, 실제 봉현 물류단지는 경기도의 정식인허가접수를 완료했고 경기도는 사전 자문을 통해 관련 내용 보완을 받았다며 "사실에 거의 부합하고 있는 것으로 보인다"고 밝혔다.
