민생당 양건모 대변인은 8일 발한 “코로나 백신, 언제부터 접종하겠다는 것인지 궁금하고 답답하다” 제목의 논평에서 “코로나19 백신에 대한 각국의 접종이 확산하고 있는데, 우리나라는 언제부터 코로나 백신 접종을 하겠다는 것인지도 알 수가 없다. 백신 접종을 확산하면 코로나 확산이 줄어들고, 일상생활이 상당 정도 가능해진다. 백신 접종은 중소자영업자들의 영업난 해결과 직결되는 것으로, 현 코로나 대책에서 가장 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 미국, 중국, 영국, 유럽 연합을 비롯해 인도, 브라질, 독일, 프랑스, 터키 등은 이미 지난해 말부터 접종을 시작하였고, 이스라엘의 경우에는 전 국민의 39%가 접종을 마쳤다”고 강조하면서 “문재인 정부는 코로나 백신 구매와 관련해 지난해 ‘4,400만 명분을 선구매했고, 그중 2천만 분은 계약을 체결했다’라고 밝힌 바 있다. 그런데, 다른 나라들은 이미 코로나 백신 접종을 추진하고 있는데 우리는 코로나 백신 접종이 어떻게 추진되는지 도대체 알 수가 없다”고 지적했다.
이어 “문재인 대통령은 3일, 민·관·군·경 합동으로 이뤄진 백신 수송 모의훈련 현장을 방문해 예방접종 준비상황을 점검하러 인천공항엘 갔다. 그런 일은 질병관리청에 맡기고, 대통령은 정확히 언제 코로나 백신 접종을 시작하고, 1, 2, 3차 대상자는 누구이며, 올해는 몇 명까지 접종 가능한지 등의 구체적인 계획을 점검해 국민에게 알려주는 것이 급선무 아닐까 싶다. 정말 궁금하고 답답하다”고 덧붙였다.
