민생당 양건모 대변인은 9일 “코로나19 백신 접종 2월 말 시작, 전 국민 무료 접종의 확실한 계획을 제시하라.-거리두기 지속으로 중소자영업자 고통을 지속시킬 수는 없다” 제목의 논평을 발표했다.
이 논평에서 “정부는 8일 오후, 코로나19 백신 75만 명분을 24일 국내 공급하겠다고 처음 밝혔다. 공급을 받은 의료기관은 26일부터 접종이 가능할 것이라고 한다. 백신 접종 시작과 함께, 정부는 국민에게 추가로 알려주어야 할 내용이 있다. 정부는 전 국민 코로나 백신 접종이 이번 해에 가능하다고 했는데, 가능하다면 구체적인 일정은 어떻게 되는지 다시 한번 공지해 주어야 한다. 이번에 들어오는 백신 75만 명분은 코로나 전담 종사자, 노인요양시설이나 재활시설 환자나 종사자에게 접종할 정도로 적은 분량으로, 노인뿐만 아니라 일반 사람들은 언제 백신 접종을 받을 수 있는지 불분명하기 때문”이라면서 “백신 접종에 따른 심각한 알레르기 부작용으로 백신 접종을 하지 않으려는 분들도 있기는 하다. 그러나, 100만 명 중의 5.5명 정도이고 질병관리청에 의하면, 부작용이 생겼을 때 에피네프린 주사를 맞으면 금방 호전되기 때문에 백신 접종 주사를 맞고 20~30분 정도 의료기관에 머무르며 부작용에 대비하면 된다고 한다”고 강조했다.
이어 “코로나19가 확산하는 상황에서 거리두기를 지속하는 것은 중소자영업자들의 고통을 가중할 뿐이다. 정부는 전 국민 코로나 백신 무료 접종에 대한 구체적이고 확실한 일정을 조속히 제시하라”고 덧붙였다.
