이수봉 비상대책위원장(민생당)은 3일 오전 9시 서울특별시 선거관리위원회에 <서울시장 보궐선거 예비후보 등록>을 했다. 이수봉 위원장은 ▲청년, 자영업자, 서민들의 천국 만들겠다. ▲무주택자 눈물을 닦아주는 서울시장이 되겠다. ▲진짜 서민 시장이 되겠다. 라는 세 가지의 포부를 가지고 예비후보등록을 한 것. 예비후보등록을 마친 후 첫 예비후보 일정으로는 오후 3시 영등포구 여의도 LG트윈빌딩 앞, 집단해고를 당한 청소노동자들의 농성현장을 격려 방문할 예정이다.
전국민주노동조합총연맹 정책연구원장과 대변인을 역임한 이력이 있는 이수봉 위원장은 이러한 의미에서 첫 일정으로 선거에만 몰두 된 보궐선거 판에 경종을 울리고, 소외된 노동자들을 위한 메시지를 던지는 일정을 잡았다고 강조했다.
