정권교체국민행동 · 범시민사회단체연합은 19일 발표한 보도자료를 통해 “정권교체를위한국민행동(정권교체국민행동)은 오늘 안철수 후보가 오세훈 후보측의 단일화 방식을 수용한다고 전격 발표한 것을 환영한다”고 밝혔다. 이 단체는 “안철수 후보는 19일 야권 승리를 바라는 국민의 여망에 부응하여 자신에게 불리하더라도 감수하겠다는 통큰 양보의 뜻을 밝힌바, 오세훈 후보와 김종인 국민의힘 비상대책위원장은 즉각 이를 수용할 것”을 촉구했다.
이어 “안철수-오세훈 두 후보는 20일부터 여론조사를 시작하여 다음 주 22일에는 단일 후보를 발표할 수 있도록 즉각 단일화 절차를 진행하라. 그것이야말로 야권 승리를 갈망하는 국민들에게 희망을 주는 것이며 정권교체의 시작을 알리는 신호탄이 될 수 있다”고 덧붙였다.
