대구대학교(총장 김상호) 서비스디자인연구소가 (사)한국서비스디자인학회(회장 최민영)와 서비스디자인 인재 양성을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다
지난 27일 성신여자대학교 서비스디자인공학과 회의실에서 개최된 협약식에는 조유석 대구대 서비스디자인전공 교수, 최민영 한국서비스디자인학회장 등이 참석했다.

이들은 이번 협약을 통해 서비스디자인 분야의 국제적 공동 연구 및 사업 추진과 고도화된 전공 역량 강화를 통한 협력적 연구 네트워크를 구축하기로 뜻을 모았다.
협약의 주요 내용은 △서비스디자인 우수 인재 양성을 위한 교육 협력 △서비스디자인 확산을 통한 산업 고도화 및 지역 발전 △서비스디자인 연구개발 및 사업화를 위한 공동 협력 △협력적 연구 네트워크 구축 등을 목표로 공공서비스디자인, PSS디자인, 메타버스 및 VR/AR 콘텐츠, AI 및 자율주행 서비스디자인 분야 등에서의 협력 추진이다.
최민영 회장은 “오늘날 산업사회가 요구하는 서비스디자인 분야의 지식 창출과 확산을 위해 대구대 서비스디자인연구소 및 서비스디자인전공 신설을 환영한다”며, “이번 협약을 통해 서비스디자인 연구개발 및 사업화를 위한 공동 노력과 창의적 융복합 인재 양성을 위한 교육 협력으로 우수한 인재 양성이 가능할 것이다”고 말했다.
조유석 교수도 “산업발전과 공공분야 혁신의 도구로 활용되는 서비스디자인 연구를 국내 대표 전문기관과 함께하게 돼 큰 의미가 있다”며, “융복합 교육 협력을 통한 지역 내 우수 인재 양성으로 대구·경북지역 내 서비스디자인 확산에 앞장서겠다”고 말했다.

Chairman Choi Min-young said, “We welcome the establishment of Daegu University’s Service Design Research Center and Service Design Department to create and spread knowledge in the service design field required by today’s industrial society. It will be possible to nurture excellent talents through educational cooperation for nurturing creative convergence talents.”
Professor Jo Yoo-seok also said, “It is very meaningful to be doing research on service design, which is used as a tool for industrial development and innovation in the public sector, together with a representative domestic institution. We will take the lead in spreading service design in the Gyeongbuk region.”
