금오공대, 제8대 신임총장에 곽호상 교수 취임

제8대 금오공과대학교 신임 총장에 곽호상(58·기계시스템공학과) 교수가 취임했다.

이에 따라 곽호상 신임총장은 11월 19일부터 공식업무를 시작하며 향후 4년 간 대학 운영을 맡게 된다.

곽호상 신임 총장은 경기도 파주 출신으로 서울 보성고, 서울대 기계공학과를 졸업하고, 한국과학기술원에서 석·박사 학위를 받은 후, 2000년 금오공대에 부임했다. 입학관리본부장, 산학협력단장 등 교내 주요 보직을 역임했다.
