대구대학교(총장 김상호) 아트앤디자인전공이 제2회 대한민국 청년미술대전에서 수상자를 배출하는 쾌거를 이루었다.
오는 12일까지 계속되는 제2회 대한민국 청년미술대전에 대한민국 청년미술대전의 공모전은 만19~39세까지 출품 자격을 부여해 융합적인 방식으로 창의적이고 독창적인 작품을 선보이는 젊은 작가를 발굴하기 위해 마련됐다.

한국미술협회 서울시지회가 주최한 이번대회에서 대구대 아트앤디자인전공 학생들은 대상을 비롯해 다양한 상을 수상하며 눈길을 끌었다.
심사위원들은 작품의 완성도 및 조형 감각 등을 기준으로 심사한 끝에 대상을 차지한 윤연빈 학생의 ‘Emotion’이라는 작품은 인체의 머리 부분을 이루는 눈·코·입·귀를 분리해 구성하여 독특한 조형적인 관점과 함께 색상의 통일성을 보인 미적 감각이 우수한 평가를 받았다.
윤연빈 학생은 “이번에 받은 좋은 상은 앞으로 더욱 열심히 하라는 의미로 받아들이겠다”면서 “멈춰있지 않고 계속 발전할 수 있도록 지지해 주고 도움을 준 많은 분에게 감사드린다”고 말했다.
이 외에도 심규인(대학원) 학생은 한국미협이사장상을 받았으며, 김영지 학생(아트앤디자인전공 4)은 특선에 김효진(대학원) 학생은 입선에 선정됐다.
