[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 경남도의회는 국민권익위원회가 평가한“2021년도 지방의회 청렴도 측정 결과”에서 광역의회 종합청렴도 2등급을 달성했다.
올해는 전체 17개 광역의회 중 1등급을 달성한 기관은 없으며, 경남도의회를 포함한 2등급 7개, 3등급 3개, 4등급 6개, 5등급 1개 기관이 받았다.
경남도의회는 지난해 대비 의회운영, 의정활동에서 대부분 개선되었다는 평가를 받아 3등급에서 2등급으로 청렴도가 한 단계 상승됐다.
경남도의회는 의원 및 내부직원 모두 부패방지 자정노력에 최선을 다했고, 공공분야의 투명성 증대를 위해 부패취약분야 제도개선 등 청렴에 대한 민감도를 지속적으로 향상시켜 왔다.
김하용 의장은“청렴도가 지난해 대비 향상된 것은 모든 직원과 의원들이 함께 합심하여 노력한 결과라고 생각하며, 앞으로도 도민에게 신뢰 받는 경남도의회가 될 수 있도록 청렴문화 확산을 위해 더욱 노력하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
