브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 바인그룹은 지난 21일 바인그룹 본사에서 밀알복지재단 굿윌스토어로부터 감사패를 수여받았다고 밝혔다.
굿윌스토어측은 "바인그룹은 지속적인 협력을 통해 장애인이 행복하게 일하며 자립할 수 있도록 도왔다"며 "자원순환으로 환경보호 활동에도 적극 참여하며 사회적 책임을 다했기에 굿윌스토어 10주년을 기념해 감사패를 드린다.”고 전했다.
바인그룹과 굿윌스토어는 2019년 업무협약을 맺은 이후 매년 바인그룹 구성원들의 자발적인 참여로 굿윌스토어 매장을 방문해 장애인 직원들과 함께 봉사활동을 진행하고, 쓰지 않는 의류 및 물건들을 기증하는 등 캠페인을 벌여왔다.
바인그룹은 사회공헌팀은 “물적자원으로 지원하는 것만이 아닌, 장애인의 복지와 자립을 위해 지속적인 봉사활동과 물품기증 캠페인으로 임직원과 구성원이 함께하는 문화를 만들어왔다”고 소감을 전했다.
한편 바인그룹은, 봉사활동과 기증캠페인 외에도 본사가 위치해 있는 동대문구의 지역사회의 어려운 청소년들을 매년 지원하고 있다. 또한 사회공헌활동의 일환으로 청소년들의 자기성장을 돕는 ‘위캔두’ 프로그램을 온/오프라인으로 진행, 기관과 학교에도 출강하며 전액 무료 교육기부프로그램으로 진행하고 있다.
