브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 윤석열 국민의힘 대선후보는 박근혜 전 대통령이 특별사면으로 31일 오전 0시 출소하는데 대해 "크게 환영하는 입장이고 조금 더 일찍 나오셨어야 한다는 입장이다"라고 밝혔다.
윤석열 후보는 이날 오전 대구시 수성구 범어동 국민의힘 대구시당에서 가진 기자간담회에서 " 아직 입원해 계시고 건강이 좋지 않기 때문에 빠른 쾌유를 바란다. 박 전 대통령께서 건강이 회복되시면 찾아뵙고 싶다"며 이같이 말했다.
그는 "박근혜 전 대통령을 아끼고 사랑하는 단체들도 조금 전에 저의 당선을 바라는 지지 선언을 해주셨다"면서 "찾아뵙고 싶은데 다른 정치적인 현안들을 박 대통령께서 신경을 쓰신다면 쾌유가 늦어지기 때문에 시도 자체를 안 하고 있다"고 말했다.
이어 그는 이명박 전 대통령에 대해서도 "빨리 석방돼야 한다고 생각한다"며 "한 때 많은 국민 지지를 받고 중책을 수행해오신 분을 장기간 구금해놓는 것이 미래를 향한, 국민 통합을 생각할 때 미래를 향한 정치로써 그게 맞는 것이냐, 저는 다르다고 생각한다"고 강조했다.
윤 후보는 이준석 대표와 지속적으로 갈등이 벌어지는데 대해선 "제 입장에서 보면 갈등이라고 할 것도 없다"고 선을 그은 뒤 "당 대표는 당 대표의 역할을 하고, 후보는 후보 할 일을 각자 잘 수행하면 된다고 생각한다"고 했다.
아울러 최근 지지율이 하락 추세인데 대해선 "지지율은 쳐다보지 않는다. 오로지 국민만 바라보고 열심히 선거운동을 하고 있다"고 했고, 안철수 국민의당 후보와의 단일화 가능성에 대해선 "저와 안 후보는 이 정권을 교체해야 한다는 열망은 마찬가지다. 큰 차원에서 한번 소통할 생각을 하고 있다"고 말했다.
최근 고위공직자범죄수사처가 언론인과 정치인 등에 대해 대대적으로 통신자료 조회를 한 것과 관련해선 "아침에 보니깐 국민의힘 의원들 100여 명이 참여하는 단톡방을 (공수처가) 털었더라. 이것은 미친 짓이고 불법 선거개입이고 부정선거를 자행하고 있다는 이야기"라고 맹비판했다.
