브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 윤석열 국민의힘 대선후보는 5일 선거대책위원회 전체 해산을 발표했다.
윤석열 후보는 이날 오전 11시 여의도 당사에서 기자회견을 갖고 "오늘부로 선거대책위원회를 해산하겠다"며 "선대위가 매머드라 불리고 민심을 제대로 파악못하고 벌인 선거 캠페인 등 잘못된 부분을 인정하고 다시 바로잡겠다"고 밝혔다.
윤 후보는 "국회의원들에게 자리를 나눠주는 게 아닌 철저한 실무 위주의 선거대책 본부로 구성하겠다"며 "실력있는 실무형 인사들이 선대위를 끌고 가게끔 하겠다"고 했다.
이어 "2030 젊은 세대에게 실망을 준 행보에 대해 반성하고 앞으로는 전혀 다른 모습을 보일 것이라고 약속한다"고 했다.
그는 또 "선거대책기구와 국민의힘을 잘 이끌어 안심을 드렸어야 했는데 그렇지 못했다. 모두 제 책임"이라며 "제가 일관되게 가졌던 원칙과 잣대는 저와 제 가족, 제 주변에게도 똑같이 적용하겠다"고 했다.
윤 후보는 "처음의 윤석열 모습으로 돌아가겠다"면서 "앞으로는 제가 하고 싶은 말이 아니라 국민들께서 듣고 싶어하는 말을 드리겠다. 제게 시간을 좀 달라. 확실히 다른 모습으로 변화된 모습을 보여주겠다"고 강조했다.
