브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 오뚜기는 코로나19 장기화로 자금난을 겪고 있는 협력사들의 경영활동을 지원하기 위해 127억원의 협력사 하도급대금을 조기 지급한다고 7일 밝혔다.
오뚜기는 전월 협력사 하도급대금을 정상 지급일보다 평균 50일 앞당겨 오는 10일 전액 현금으로 지급한다. 이번 지급 대상은 OEM사, 원료업체, 포장업체 등 총 43개사다. 앞서 오뚜기는 지난해 추석에도 협력사 34곳에 하도급대금 158억원을 전액 현금으로 조기 지급한 바 있다.
한편, 오뚜기는 협력업체와의 상생을 도모하기 위해 다양한 활동을 전개하고 있다. 특히, 사내 ESG추진팀을 중심으로 관련 부서 임직원으로 구성된 내부 심의위원회를 통해 동반성장과 관련된 주요 사안을 논의해 개선하고 있다.
또한, 지난 2015년부터는 동반성장펀드를 마련해 협력사와 대리점들이 시중 금리 대비 낮은 이자로 대출을 받아 안정적인 경영활동을 이어갈 수 있도록 돕고 있다.
오뚜기 관계자는 “자금 소요가 많은 설을 앞두고 협력사들의 원활한 자금 운용에 도움을 주기 위해 하도급대금 조기 지급을 결정하게 됐다”며 “앞으로도 상생을 위한 방안을 지속 논의함으로써 많은 협력사들과 함께 성장할 수 있도록 노력할 것이다”고 말했다.
