브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= CJ프레시웨이가 부천시 사회복지 급식관리지원센터와 손잡고 관내 복지시설을 이용하는 사회적 취약계층의 영양증진에 나선다.
CJ프레시웨이는 이번 협약을 통해 부천시 사회복지 급식관리지원센터와 함께 50명 미만의 소규모 사회복지시설의 급식소를 대상으로 영양식단 구성, 위생안전 관리 컨설팅, 식습관 교육 등을 진행할 예정이다.
사회복지 급식관리지원센터는 노인, 장애인이 이용하는 사회복지시설 급식소의 위생, 영양, 안전관리를 전문적으로 지원하는 기관이다.
CJ프레시웨이는 지난해 10월 인천 서구에 이어 올해 부천시 사회복지 급식관리지원센터와 업무협약을 맺으며, 지역사회 사회복지시설 내 급식문화 개선에 앞장서고 있다.
50명 미만의 사회복지시설은 영양사 고용 의무가 없어 자체적으로 식단을 구성하고 제공하는 데 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. CJ프레시웨이는 이 같은 ‘영양 사각지대’를 해소하고자, 부천시 사회복지 급식관리지원센터와의 협업 하에 어르신들의 건강한 식생활을 돕는 케어푸드 브랜드인 ‘헬씨누리’의 시니어 맞춤형 식단과 조리법을 공유하는 등 적극 지원할 계획이다.
강연중 CJ프레시웨이 전략사업본부장은 “지역사회의 건강한 급식문화 정착을 위해 교육, 컨설팅 등 다양한 활동을 펼쳐왔다”며 “앞으로도 그간 쌓아온 단체급식 및 케어푸드 역량을 발휘해 소규모 복지시설의 급식 수준 향상과 급식 환경 개선을 위해 지속적으로 노력할 것이다”고 말했다.
