울진군은 설 명절 군민들이 쾌적한 환경에서 쓰레기 걱정없는 연휴를 보낼 수 있도록 ‘설 연휴 쓰레기 관리대책’을 추진한다고 21일 밝혔다.

군에 따르면 먼저 연휴 기간 미 수거에 따른 배출 일정 홍보 및 읍면별 적체 쓰레기 수거, 음식물 쓰레기 종량기(RFID) 관리 점검 등 사전 환경 정비를 실시하고, 설 연휴 기간 중에는 쓰레기 발생에 따른 주민 불편사항을 즉시 해소하기 위해 비상청소체계를 구축ㆍ운영할 계획이다.
설 연휴 동안 생활쓰레기는 1월 30일과 설 당일인 2월 1일은 수거하지 않으며, 나머지 연휴 기간에는 정상 수거하므로 일몰 후 배출하면 된다.
이성호 환경위생과장은 “깨끗한 환경조성 및 신속한 쓰레기 수거와 처리를 위해 만전을 기할 것”이라며, “군민들께서도 쓰레기 수거일정을 확인하고 분리·배출하여 주시길 바란다”고 당부했다.
