브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 설 연휴기간 대선후보들의 TV토론이 극적으로 합의됐다. 오는 31일 월요일에는 이재명 더불어민주당 후보와 윤석열 국민의힘 후보간 양자토론이, 2월 3일 목요일에는 안철수 국민의당 후보와 심상정 정의당 후보까지 참여하는 4자토론이 열린다.
민주당은 28일 오후 MBC·KBS·SBS 지상파 3사와의 방송토론 실무협의 결과, 이같이 방송하기로 합의했다고 밝혔다.
실무협의에는 국민의힘 측에선 참석하지 않았으나, 실무협의 발표 직후 결과를 수용하겠다는 입장을 밝혔다. 성일종 국민의힘 토론협상단장은 즉각 입장문을 통해 "곧바로 실무협상의 개시를 요청드린다. 오늘 늦은 시간이라도 실무협상이 재개될 수 있도록 즉시 조치하겠다"고 말했다.
다만 국민의당 측에선 3당 실무회담 이후 배포한 의견문을 통해 민주당과 양자토론에 대해 어떤 합의도 한 것이 없다면서 민주당과 국민의힘간 양자토론에 대해선 담합행위라고 지적했다.
한편 앞서 허경영 국가혁명당 후보가 4개 정당 후보만 참여하는 TV토론은 부당하다며 법원에 낸 가처분 신청은 기각됐다. 서울서부지법 민사합의21부는 28일 허경영 후보가 지상파 3사를 상대로 낸 ‘대통령후보 초청토론 방송금지’ 가처분 신청 사건의 심문을 열고 이같이 결정했다.
