한국수력원자력 한울원자력본부(본부장 박범수, 이하 한울본부)는 주민들의 소득증대와지역경제 활성화를 위해 ‘The숲 속 산양삼 및 산채 재배단지 조성사업’에 3억 원을 지원헸다고 16일 밝혔다.

The숲 속 산양삼 및 산채 재배단지 조성사업은 한울본부가 지원하고 울진국유림영림단 사회적협동조합이 시행했다.
산채 재배단지는 울진군 금강송면 소광리 일대 국유림지역에 약 21ha 면적으로 조성되었으며, 앞으로 고부가가치 산채류인 산양삼, 병품취, 참두릅 및 곰취 등을재배·생산하여 주민들의 소득증대 및 일자리 창출에 기여하게 된다.
한울본부는 산채 재배단지에 종자·종묘 구입, 관목류 식재 및 울타리 설치 등으로 3억 원을 지원했다.
박범수 한울본부장은 “이번 사업이 코로나19로 얼어붙은지역경제에 활력을 불어넣을 지역특화사업으로 자리 잡길 기대하며, 한울본부는 앞으로도 주민들의경제적 자립에 도움이 되는 사업을 발굴하겠다. ”고 밝혔다.

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters announced on the 16th that it had donated 300 million won to ‘The Forest Wild Ginseng and Wild Vegetable Cultivation Complex Project’ to increase the income of residents and revitalize the local economy.
The project to create a wild ginseng and wild vegetable cultivation complex in the forest was supported by the Hanul Headquarters and implemented by the Uljin National Forest Service Social Cooperative.
The wild vegetable cultivation complex was built in the national forest area around Sogwang-ri, Geumgang-song-myeon, Uljin-gun, with an area of about 21 hectares.
The Hanul Headquarters provided 300 million won to the wild vegetable cultivation complex to purchase seeds and seedlings, plant shrubs, and install fences.
Park Bum-soo, head of Hanul Headquarters, said, “We expect this project to be established as a regional-specific project that will revitalize the local economy frozen by COVID-19. ” he said.
