김대중 정부 청와대 비서관ㆍ행정관들이 24일 오후 광주광역시청 시민소통관에서 기자회견을 갖고 윤석열 국민의힘 대선 후보의 김대중 대통령 선거 이용행위 중단을 요구했다. 이날 행사는 이재명 후보 선대위 대전환 국민통합특보단(단장 권기식) 주관으로 열렸다.

이어 "김대중 대통령을 곁에서 모셨던 비서진들은 김 대통령의 국정철학을 가장 잘 계승하는 후보는 이재명 더불어민주당 대선 후보라고 확신한다"며 이 후보 지지 입장을 밝혔다.
이날 행사에는 김대중 정부 청와대 비서진 모임 81명을 대표해 권기식ㆍ김봉준ㆍ김종선ㆍ류규선ㆍ이동춘ㆍ장창원ㆍ장홍호ㆍ조광제 등 8명이 참석했다.
