울진군의회, 산불 이재민에 위문금 전달

울진군의회(의장 장선용)는 지난 4일 발생한 대형 산불로 고통받는 울진군 이재민을 위로하고자 성금 500만원을 울진군 함께모아 행복금고(경북사회복지공동모금회 울진군협의체)에기탁 했다고 7일 밝혔다.

이번 산불은 4일 오전 11시 15분경 울진군 북면 두천리에서 발화해 7일 현재 주택과 창고 등 시설물 404개소와 산림 약 14,319ha를 태웠고, 이로 인해 울진국민체육센터 등 15개소에 280명의 이재민이 대피하여 삶의 터전을 잃고 시름하고 있다.

전례 없는 화마가 덮친 울진군에 대해 정부는 피해 복구를 위해 6일 오후 울진·삼척 지역을 특별재난지역으로 선포했다.

장선용 울진군의회 의장은 “예상치 못한 초대형 산불재난으로 피해를 입은 울진군민들께 위로의 말씀을 전하고 특별재난지역으로 피해조사 및 정부의 지원을 통해 신속한 피해복구가 되기를 바라며, 하루빨리 일상으로 복귀할 수 있도록 울진군의회가 최대한 협조해 가겠다”고 밝혔다.
