브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 방송인 김어준씨는 17일 윤석열 대통령 당선인측이 청와대 집무실을 떠나 서울 용산 국방부 청사로 이전하는 방안을 유력하게 논의하고 있는데 대해 "이해가 안 간다"고 비판했다.
김씨는 이날 오전 자신이 진행하는 TBS라디오 '김어준의 뉴스공장'에서 "국민 속으로 가기 위해 군사시설로 들어간다. 불만이 아니라 궁금해서 그런다"며 이같이 밝혔다.
그는 "국민에게 더 가깝게 다가간다는 광화문 구상이 처음 등장한 건 김영삼 당선자 시절이었다"며 "이후 새 정부 출범 때마다 광화문 계획이 등장했다가 경호를 비롯해 여러 현실적인 문제로 무산됐다. 이번에도 광화문이 여의치 않자 용산 국방부 청사를 집무실로 쓰겠다는 것"이라고 설명했다.
이어 "국민에 더 가까이 가겠다는 의지는 이해가 가는데, 국방부가 어떻게 그 의지가 실현될 공간인가"며 "청와대로 들어갈 확률은 제로라고 말 했으니 옮기는 것 자체는 기정사실인 것 같은데, 국민 앞으로 한 걸음 다가간다, 대국민 접촉면을 넓힌다, 이런 이유를 대면서 국민 소통을 왜 군사시설에서 하나. 이건 납득이 안 간다"고 지적했다.
