울진군, 죽변 농공단지 임시거주시설 조성에 박차

울진군은 이재민 임시주거단지 마련을 위해 죽변면 농공단지 유휴부지를 활용한 집단 단지 조성에 박차를 가하고 있다고 17일 밝혔다.

군에 따르면 죽변면 농공단지에 약 50동 규모로 조성될 임시주거단지는 이재민 수요 조사를 통해 개별단위 및 마을단위 조성이 여의치 않은 주민에 한해 제공될 계획이며, 임시조립주택 설치 후 신속하게 입주가 가능하도록 현재 중장비 차량을 이용하여 부지 평탄화 및 다짐 작업을 하고 있다.

전찬걸 울진군수는 17일 현장을 찾아 작업 상황을 점검하고, 조속한 시일 내에 단지 조성을 완료할 수 있도록 속도를 내 줄 것을 당부했다.

임시조립주택은 약 27㎡(3m×9m) 규모에 냉.난방시설과 주방, 화장실 등을 갖추고 있으며, 평탄화 작업이 끝나는 18일 쯤에는 이재민들이 실제 거주하게 될 임시조립주택 견본을 농공단지에 설치하고 이재민들에게 공개할 예정이다.

전찬걸 울진군수는 “이재민들에게 새로운 보금자리를 마련하는 일이 현재 가장 시급하고 중요한 문제인 만큼 차질없이 추진하여 빠른 시일 내로 입주할 수 있도록 총력을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
