이장우 국민의힘 대전시장 예비후보가 17일 오전 후보사무소에서 첫 공약으로 ‘대전도시철도 종합건설전략 구상(안)’을 발표하고 본격적인 정책 아젠다 선점에 나섰다.
구상안은 현재 대전시가 계획 중인 2호선 완공 이후 2028년 3호선 추진이 아니라 2021~2030 세종, 충남북 제4차 국가철도망 건설과 연계해 3~5호선 3개 노선을 동시에 통합 추진한다는 계획이다.
이날 이장우 후보는 “대전의 위기는 중장기 전략의 실종이며, 국토종합계획에 선제적으로 반영할 수 있는 대전종합계획이 요구된다.”고 전제하고 “대전 그랜드 플랜 수립을 정례화하도록 조례를 제정, 시장이나 정권이 바뀌어도 정책 일관성을 가지고 추진할 수 있도록 하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
