브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 윤석열 대통령 당선인측은 취임식과 관련, 오는 5월 10일 서울 여의도 국회의사당 광장에서 갖는다고 밝혔다.
박주선 대통령취임준비위원장은 23일 오전 서울 종로구 통의동 금융연수원에서 기자들과 만나 "국회의사당으로 결정했다"며 "윤석열 당선인께서는 광화문에선 안 되냐고 하셨는데 공사를 하고 있어서 안 된다"고 말했다.
박주선 위원장에 따르면 대통령 취임식 장소는 국회의사당, 광화문 광장, 시청 광장, 용산 공원 등 4군데를 염두에 두고 있었다.
박 위원장은 취임식 장소로 국회의사당을 선정한 이유에 대해 "국회는 민의의 전당이고, 관례적으로 국민의 대표 취임식을 많이 했다. 관례도 쫓고 현실성을 많이 고려했다"고 설명했다.
이에 따라 취임식 당일 비가 안 온다면 국회의사당 광장에서 열리며 비가 온다면 국회 본관 내부 로텐더홀에서 진행할 예정이다.
