브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 윤석열 대통령 당선인 측은 28일 문재인 대통령과의 청와대 회동과 관련 "첫째도 민생, 둘째도 민생을 염두에 두고 있다"며 "국민 걱정을 덜어드리고 힘이 될 수 있는 만찬에 최선 다하겠다"고 밝혔다.
김은혜 당선인 대변인은 이날 서울 종로구 통의동 대통령직인수위원회 사무실에서 가진 브리핑에서 "사전에 정해진 의제가 없어 허심탄회하게 이야기하는 자리가 될 것"이라며 이같이 말했다.
김 대변인은 "민생에 대해 무한 책임을 진다는 자세로 임하려고 한다"며 "코로나 손실보상 문제는 무엇보다 시급하게 다뤄져야 된다고 생각한다. 국민 걱정을 덜고 코로나로 고통받은 국민들께 힘이 될 수 있는 방안을 이야기하다 보면 자연스럽게 나오게 될 것"이라 설명했다.
이어 그는 "윤 당선인의 경제기조와 민생에 대한 접근은 일관되어 있다"며 "시장의 창의로 민간에 활력을 제공하고 사회적 약자를 보듬는 복지 선순환 구조를 염두에 두고 있다"고 강조했다.
그는 또한 "윤 당선인은 영업제한이나 거리두기 등의 행정명령으로 국민에 피해가 끼쳤을 경우 손실보상을 당연히 이행해야 할 의무가 국가에 있다고 말씀드렸다"며 "현 정부에서도 국민에게 절실하고 절박한 코로나 문제에 대해 여야 할 것 없이 충분히 공감하고 책임 있게 임해주실 거라 믿는다"고 했다.
추가경정예산 50조원 논의 여부에 대해서도 "국민에 대한 윤 당선인의 약속이었고, 국민이 일어설 수 있도록 힘이 되어드리고 손을 건네드리는 당위성에 현 정부도 공감하고 지원해 주실 거라 믿는다"고 말했다.
북한이 연일 미사일을 시험발사하고 있는 상황 속에 한반도 안보 관련 사항이 논의될 것 같냐는 질문에도 "당연히 국민이 먹고 사는 문제와 함께 안전을 지켜드릴 수 있는 문제 역시 자연스럽게 얘기가 나올 것 같다"면서 "윤 당선인은 북한의 핵과 미사일 공격 위협으로부터 국민을 안전하게 지켜드릴 수 있는 방안을 고민하고 있다"고 전했다.

We are trying to take unlimited responsibility for the people's livelihoods, spokesman Kim said. "I think the issue of compensation for COVID-19 losses should be dealt with urgently above all else. If we talk about ways to relieve public concern and help the people who suffered from COVID-19, we will naturally come out."
Yoon's approach to the economy and people's livelihoods is consistent, he said. "We are mindful of a virtuous cycle of welfare that provides vitality to the private sector and embraces the socially disadvantaged with market creativity."
Yoon also said, "I believe the current government will fully sympathize with and take responsibility for the COVID-19 issue, regardless of whether it is necessary or not, if administrative orders such as business restrictions or distancing damage the people."
Regarding whether to discuss 50 trillion won in the supplementary budget, he also said, "It was Yoon's promise to the people, and I believe the current government will sympathize with and support the legitimacy of giving help to the people."
Asked if security-related issues on the Korean Peninsula will be discussed amid North Korea's test-firing missiles day after day, Yoon said, "Of course, there will be a natural issue that can protect the people from the threat of North Korea's nuclear and missile attacks."
