울진군, 산불 피해 주택 철거 돌입

군에 따르면, 이번 산불로 전파된 주택 252동을 포함해 약 290동의 주택과 창고 등 시설물들이 철거 대상이다.

철거작업은 지역별로 구역을 나누어 울진읍과 북면 덕구리.하당리 등은 1지구, 죽변면, 북면 신화2리.검성리 등은 2지구로 구분해 진행하고, 귀중품 등 사용가능한 물건은 소유자가 직접 확인 후 처리에 동의하면 철거에 들어간다.

또한, 피해조사 결과에 근거해 폐기물 발생량을 산정, 2개 업체를 투입해 신속하게 처리할 계획이다.

전찬걸 군수는 7일 첫 작업이 시작된 신화2리를 찾아 진행 상황을 확인하고, 재난폐기물을 조속히 처리하되 안전을 최우선으로 두고 진행하도록 관계부서에 주문했다.
