[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 경남도는 지난 1월 발주한 ‘남부내륙철도 연계 지역발전전략 및 역세권개발 기본계획 수립용역’의 착수보고회를 20일에 개최하고 남부내륙철도 개통을 대비한 역세권개발을 가속화 한다.
착수보고회에는 경남도를 비롯한 공동 발주기관인 진주, 통영, 거제, 고성, 합천 5개 시·군 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 용역수행기관인 (재)경남연구원과 ㈜유신이 착수 보고를 한 뒤, 용역 추진에 대한 질의답변 및 개발 방향 논의의 시간을 가졌다.
이번 용역의 주요 내용은 ▲지역별 성장잠재력 분석 등을 통한 지역발전전략 제시 ▲역세권별 지역 특성화 방안 및 개발 기본계획 수립 ▲지역별 발전 미래상 및 장기적인 발전 방향 제시 등으로, 개발지역 여건분석 및 타 시도의 역세권개발 사례조사, 지역주민 및 수도권주민 설문조사, 전문가 참여 포럼, 토론회 등을 거쳐 합리적이고 경제적인 개발계획을 마련하고자 한다.
