수강생들은 이틀에 걸쳐 6시간 동안 마을 자원조사, 동네 한 바퀴, 비전 슬로건 만들기 등 마을 계획 수립을 위한 전 과정에 참여해 지역 문제 해결의 주체로서 진정한 주민의 역할이 무엇인지를 배우게 된다.
