울진군의료원, 신임 정형외과 의사 진료 시작

【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=울진군의료원(원장 정호성)은 2일부터 정형외과 전문의 1명을 추가 초빙헤 진료한다고 밝혔다.

군에 따르면 신임 박찬휘 정형외과장은 계명대학교 의과대학를 졸업하고 대한적십자사 상주병원 정형외과장 및 구미강남병원 병원장 등을 역임했다.

또한 연세대학교 세브란스병원 관절연구원 과정수료, 대한노인병학회 노인병 인정의 자격 취득을 하는 등 다양한 관절질환 치료경험을 지닌 전문의이다.

주요 진료분야는 무릎, 어깨 등 관절질환에 특화되어 고령층이 많은 울진군민들의 든든한 주치의가 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.

이로써 정형외과에 2명의 전문의가 배치되어 울진관내 취약한 의료분야를 강화하여 지역주민에게 양질의 의료서비스를 제공하기 위한 기반을 다지게 되었다.

정호성 의료원장은 “고령사회인 울진군에 실력 있는 정형외과 의료진이 확충되어 지역민들의 건강을 지키는데 도움이 될 것으로 생각하며, 향후 유능한 의료진을 초빙하고 내실 있는 경영을 통해 군민의 기대에 부응하는 공공의료기관이 되는데 최선의 노력을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
