군에 따르면 이번 활동은 청소년을 유해환경으로부터 보호하기 위하여 울진경찰서, 청소년상담복지센터, 학교밖청소년지원센터 등 민·관 합동으로 진행되었다.
합동점검단은 울진읍, 죽변면 일대 청소년들의 출입이 잦은 편의점과 일반음식점, PC방 등을 다니며 ‘청소년 유해환경 OUT’ 리플릿을 배부하고, ‘19세미만 술·담배 판매 금지’ 스티커 부착 여부 등을 단속하는 등의 활동을 펼쳤다.
김주돈 사회복지과장은 “앞으로도 청소년의 안전과 보호를 위하여 청소년 유해환경을 근절하고, 청소년이 건강하게 성장할 수 있는 환경을 만드는 데 노력하겠다”고 전했다.
