첫 영구치인 어금니가 나는 6세의‘6’과 어금니의 구를 숫자화한 ‘9’를 조합해 평생 사용해야 할 영구치를 소중하게 관리하자는 의미로 매년 6월 9일을 구강보건의 날로 기념하고 있다.
매직복화술 공연은 6월 7일 울진초등학교 연송관에서 오전 9시, 오전10시 10분 2회에 걸쳐 진행했으며 공연이 끝난 후 고학년 대상 구강건강 예방 홍보부스를 운영하여 올바른 가글 양치법 및 칫솔질 교육을 마쳤다.
또한 울진군보건소에서는 6월 9일부터 6월 15일까지 홍보 부스를 운영하여 지역주민을 대상으로 구강건강상담 및 구강질환 무료 검진 및 상담을 시행하고 있다.
남화모 울진군보건소장은“구강보건 캠페인 및 홍보 부스 운영을 통해 구강 건강의 중요성을 다시 한번 깨닫고, 건강한 구강 관리 습관을 실천할 수 있길 바란다”고 말했다.
