[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 국회의원과 주한 외교대사가 국내 시사 현안과 해당 국가의 주요 이슈를 소통하는 KOTOK (Korea National Assembly Talk)이 6번째로 주한독일대사를 초청해 특별간담회를 가졌다.
이번 간담회는‘협치의 독일정치 어떻게 가능했나’라는 주제로 21일 12시 국회의원회관 제7 간담회의실에서 열렸다.
이 자리에는 국민의힘 권명호 의원, 김도읍 의원, 김예지 의원, 김정재 의원, 박수영 의원, 서병수 의원, 서범수 의원, 양금희 의원, 이만희 의원, 조은희 의원, 주호영 의원, 최형두 의원(가나다순) 참석했으며, 민주당 김민석 의원, 김종민 의원, 신현영 의원, 양기대 의원, 양정숙 의원, 이수진 의원(비례), 정필모 의원, 홍익표 의원이 참석했다. 무소속 양향자 의원, 시대전환 조정훈 의원도 참석해 의미를 부여했다.
이날 여야 국회의원들과 주한독일대사는 독일정치의 협치가 어떻게 가능한지에 대해 문답을 주고 받으며 서로 다른 정당과의 연정구성, 연정을 위한 참여 정당 간 정책합의서 채택과 효력, 연정 장관의 추천 과정 등에 대해 관심이 집중되었다.
미하엘 라이펜슈톨 독일대사는 "현재 숄츠 총리가 이끄는 연정은 러시아의 우크라이나 침공사태에 대한 신속하고 단호한 정책 결정을 내린 바 있다"며 최근 연정의 주요 현안에 대해 소개했다.
이번 간담회를 주최한 최 의원은 "보통 의원내각제나 연정은 국가적 위기대응에 취약한 것으로 알려져 왔는데 독일의 사례를 보면 오히려 위기 일수록 연정과 협치가 중요하고 더 효율적이라는 것을 보여주고 있다"고 말했다.
최형두 의원은 "바쁜 시간에 여야의 의원들이 20여명이 참석해서 독일의 협치에 대한 깊은 관심을 보여 주셨다"며 "민주당 양기대 의원과 제가 함께 추진 중인 국회내 독일협치연구포럼에서 아데나워 총리에서 숄츠 총리 연정에 이르기까지 주요 정치 경제 사회 외교안보 현안을 사례연구 형식으로 토론하여 우리나라 문제를 되짚어보고 협치의 가능성을 심화 확대해 나가겠다"고 밝혔다.
