퇴비 부숙도 검사 의무화 제도가 시행됨에 따라 축산농장에서 퇴비를 반출할 때에는 반드시 퇴비부숙도 검사를 실시해야 하고, 이를 따르지 않으면 최대 200만원의 과태료 처분을 받을 수 있다.
부숙도 검사주기는 가축분뇨 배출시설 허가농가(한우 900㎡ 이상)는 1년에 2회, 신고농가는 1년에 1회이며 가축분 퇴비를 농경지에 살포시 축사면적 1,500㎡이상 농가는 부숙후기 또는 부숙 완료, 1,500㎡미만은 부숙 중기 이상으로 부숙하여야 한다.
퇴비부숙도 검사를 희망하는 농가는 여러 지점에서 채취한 퇴비 500g정도를 잘 혼합하여 비닐봉투에 담아 밀봉하고 농업기술센터로 가져오면 검사결과를 무료로 발급받을 수 있으며 검사결과는 검사한 날부터 3년간 보관해야 한다.
황증호 농업기술센터 소장은 “품질 좋은 퇴비 생산과 환경 보전을 위해 축산농가들이 적기에 반드시 퇴비부숙도 검사를 받기를 바란다”고 당부했다.
