파주시(시장 김경일)는 20일 파주시청 비즈니스룸에서 ‘위기청소년 빅데이터 분석 연구용역’ 착수보고회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이날 착수보고회는 이종춘 파주시 복지정책국장 및 박미란 파주교육지원청 교육과장, 이혜란 파주경찰서 여성청소년계장 등 11명이 참석한 가운데 용역 수행기관의 착수보고, 질의응답, 의견수렴의 순서로 진행됐다.

용역 추진 배경으로는 인구구조 변화에 따라 청소년 인구의 감소에도 불구하고 스트레스, 학업중단, 음주, 학교폭력, 자살, 가출, 소년범죄 등의 행동을 보이는 위기청소년이 증가해 파주시 특성에 맞는 청소년 안전망 정책방안의 필요성이 대두됐다.
주요 내용은 파주시 위기청소년 관련 데이터 조사, 관련 법규 및 상위계획 분석, 국내·외 우수 서비스 사례 등 데이터를 분석해 파주시 특성에 맞는 정책을 도출한다.
