과업을 맡은 (재)대구경북연구원은 보고서를 통해 “울진·울릉 돌미역 떼배 채취어업의 지속적인 보전관리 체계를 구축할 필요가 있다”며 “세계중요농업유산 시스템으로써 가치를 재정립해 나가야 한다”고 강조했다.
