브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 국민의힘 차기 당권주자로 분류되는 안철수 의원은 29일 최근 윤석열 대통령의 '내부총질' 문자 노출에서 비롯된 이준석 대표와 윤핵관(윤석열 핵심 관계자)간 갈등에 대해 "좀 복잡한 심경이다. 제가 만나는 대부분의 분들은 '똑같은 놈들'이라고 말할 정도로 정치권에 대한 실망이 크다"고 말했다.
안철수 의원은 이날 오전 BBS라디오 '전영신의 아침저널'에서 "어느 한 쪽에서 일방적인 억울한 피해 구도는 아니고 서로 각자가 보면 어느 쪽은 잘못하고 어느 쪽은 한 쪽이 심했고 이런 게 연속적으로 반복되면서 나타난 현상"이라며 이같이 밝혔다.
안 의원은 윤석열 대통령과 권성동 당 대표 직무대행 겸 원내대표가 문자 내용 노출에 대해 "안 좋은 시기에 안 좋은 실수가 나왔다"면서 "(권 대행이) 의도적으로 노출했다고 보지는 않는다. 노출 자체가 대통령과 직무대행 본인에게 좋지는 않다"고 평가했다.
이어 그는 "세계적 경기 악화와 코로나19 재유형이 급속하게 진행되고 있어 국민들의 고통이 커지는 상황으로 이럴 때 정치권은 민생 문제 해결책에 집중해야 할 때"라며 "더 이상 소음은 없어야 한다"고 강조했다.
그러면서 "저도 정치인의 한 사람으로서 반성하고 거기에 대해서 제대로 정치를 해서 민생 문제 해결을 최중심에 둬야겠다. 민생 문제가 해결이 돼야지 누가 권력을 갖고 그런 것들이 있는 것이다. 민생 문제를 해결 안 하고 권력 투쟁만 하면 좋아보이겠나"고 덧붙였다.
안철수 의원은 권 직무대행이 오는 8월 1일 의원총회를 열고 재신임을 묻겠다는 방안을 검토 중인데 대해선 "재신임이 안 되면 조기 전당대회로 가야 한다"며 "다른 방법은 없다"고 했다.
그는 또 이준석 대표의 복귀도 어려울 것이라고 전망했다. 안 의원은 "사상 초유의 징계를 집권한 지 얼마 안 된 여당 대표가 받았다. (경찰 수사에서 무혐의로 결로나도) 완전히 없다고 만들기는 힘들다"며 "경찰 조사에서 성 상납이나 무마 의혹이 사실로 밝혀지면 이 대표 복귀는 불가능하기 때문에 빨리 지도체제 정비를 해야 한다. 사실이 아니라면 어떤 방법이 당과 이 대표라는 정치인의 미래를 위한 최선의 길인지 지혜를 모아야 하는 게 책임 있는 정부여당의 모습"이라고 강조했다.
안 의원은 이준석 대표 측이 성 상납 의혹 제기 직후 제보자 장모씨에게 써준 '7억원 투자 각서'가 윤석열-안철수 대선 후보 단일화에 영향을 미쳤다는 보도에 대해선 "현장에서 (각서를) 본 일도 들은 일도 없다. 이 대표의 입장이 협상 테이블에서 고려 대상이 아니었다"며 "정치권만이 유일하게 아니 땐 굴뚝에서 연기가 난다"고 말했다.
