[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 합천 여름 대표축제인 합천바캉스축제 개막행사가 30일 정양레포츠공원에서 열렸다.

이날 개막행사는 김윤철 합천군수와 조삼술 합천군의회 의장, 장진영 도의원, 박정덕 합천경찰서장, 정종화 교육장, 이병근 합천소방서장 등 기관장 20여명이 참석한 가운데 어린이들이 참여하는 물놀이장 등 현장 시설물의 안전점검을 시작으로 체험 프로그램도 함께 참여하면서 개막을 축하했다.

코로나로 인해 가족과 함께 소규모 가까운 여행을 지향하는 관광트랜드에 맞게 여행객들의 안전에 가장 중점을 두었으며, 황강 징검다리 건너기, 물풍선 대전, 아이들의 과학적 꿈을 키워주는 에어로켓 발사체험, 모형 물고기 잡기, 소원 종이배 만들기 등 다양한 프로그램으로 8월 7일까지 진행된다.

김윤철 합천군수는 “한 포기의 풀도 자라는 환경이 중요하듯이, 성장하는 어린이들이 수려한 합천의 맑고 깨끗한 자연에서 건강하고 행복하게 자라기를 바란다”고 말했다.

조삼술 합천군의회 의장은 “합천은 전국에서 가장 뜨거우면서도 가장 시원한 곳이라며, 가족들이 함께 축제장으로 찾아 황강의 차가운 물에서 한낮의 무더위를 식히고 편안한 가운데 쉬고 가시길 바란다”고 전했다.
