브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 바디프랜드의 융합R&D센터가 과학기술정보통신부와 한국산업기술진흥협회가 주관하는 ‘2022년 상반기 우수 기업연구소’에 지정됐다.
우수 기업연구소는 산업기술의 질적 성장을 위해 지속적으로 가치를 창출하고 기술혁신 의지 및 R&D 역량이 탁월한 기업부설연구소를 발굴하여 지정하는 제도다.
기본 역량을 심사하는 자가진단평가 통과 후, 발표심사-현장심사-종합심사를 비롯한 3단계의 엄정한 심사 절차를 거친다. 지정된 연구소는 과기정통부 지정서와 현판 수여, 각종 홍보 지원, 정부 포상 및 국가 R&D 사업 참여 우대 등의 혜택을 받는다.
바디프랜드는 메디컬R&D센터, 메디컬기술연구소, 경험디자인연구소 등 자체 연구 인력들을 통합한 ‘융합R&D센터’의 중·장기 전략 목표, 핵심 보유 기술, 연구장비환경, 혁신 수행능력, 시장 경쟁력 등에서 우수성을 입증 받아 최종 선정됐다.
바디프랜드 메디컬기술연구소 공덕현 소장은 “우수 기업연구소로서 바디프랜드의 R&D 역량과 혁신성을 인정받게 돼 영광이다”며 “임상 시험과 임상 진료에 다수 경험이 있는 전문의들을 주축으로 한 전문 연구개발 조직과 기술 인프라를 바탕으로 마사지 체어에서 개인 맞춤형 건강 관리를 위한 메디컬 체어로의 진화를 위해 앞으로도 투자와 노력을 아끼지 않을 것이다”고 말했다.
