[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 양산시는 3일 증산역 일원에서 양산소방서와 안전보안관이 함께 참여한 가운데 8월 안전점검의 날 캠페인을 실시했다.

이번 캠페인에서는 폭염 피해 예방, 여름철 물놀이 안전사고 홍보 및 중대재해처벌법 안내 등을 위주로 활동이 전개됐다.

특히 폭염 피해 예방에 중점을 두고 홍보 활동을 전개하여 증산역을 이용하는 시민을 대상으로 폭염 피해 예방 수칙이 인쇄된 종이가방과 썬스틱을 리플릿과 함께 배부해 폭염 피해 예방에 대한 시민들의 관심을 크게 끌었다.

양산시 관계자는 “계속되는 폭염으로 온열질환 및 사망사고가 잇달아 발생함에 따라 시에서도 사고를 대비한 지속적인 사업장 현장점검 등 사고 예방에 만전을 기하고 있다”며 “시민들께서도 폭염주의보 발생 시 매시간 휴식하는 등 개인 안전에 유념하여 주시기를 당부드린다”고 밝혔다.
