제77주기 원폭 희생자 추모제 열려

[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자]제77주기 원폭희생자 추모제가 6일 한국원폭피해자협회 합천지부 주관으로 합천원폭복지회관 내 위령각에서 열렸다.

1945년 8월 6일 히로시마와 9일 나가사키에 투하된 원폭으로 희생한 한국인 영령을 기리며, 원폭으로 인한 한국인 원폭피해자가 있다는 사실을 알리고 이들이 겪고 있는 신체적?정신적 고통을 치유하기 위함이다.

이날 행사는 김윤철 합천군수를 비롯 김영선 경상남도청 복지정책과장, 원폭피해자협회 임원진 및 장석도 한국원폭피해자복지회관장 등 400여명이 참석한 가운데 제례행사를 시작으로 추모공연, 헌화 및 추도사, 유족대표인사, 추모합창 등으로 진행됐다.

김윤철 합천군수는 추도사를 통해 “우리 군은 국내 유일의 원폭 복지회관과 원폭자료관을 운영하며 원폭피해자분들께 요양생활수당을 지원하는 등 복지 향상을 위해 노력해 나가고 있다.”며 “더 나아가 원폭 가족들의 숙원사업인 한국인 원폭피해자 추모시설 설립을 위해 노력하며 희생자 한분 한분의 아픔을 후손들과 나누고 기억하겠다.”고 전했다.

한편 추모제 전날에는 제11회 2022 합천비핵평화대회가 '치유와 상생, 평화의길’이라는 주제로 원폭피해자 복지회관에서 영화 상영과 전시, 공연 행사로 열렸다.
