브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 현대자동차가 미래 모빌리티 개발 역량 강화를 위해 대규모 R&D 경력 인재 확보에 나선다.
현대차는 오는 21일까지 2주간 ‘현대차 채용 홈페이지’를 통해 연구개발본부 경력 채용 모집을 착수한다고 밝혔다.
모집 부문은 △전동화/배터리 △차량아키텍처 △차량통합제어 HW/SW 개발 등 총 87개 분야이며, 채용 규모는 세자릿수 수준이다.
이번 경력 채용은 본격적인 친환경차 전환 시대에 발맞춰 전동화 통합제어 개발 분야 채용 규모를 대폭 확대했다. 기존 사업영역인 고성능차 뿐만 아니라 로보틱스, 수소연료전지 등 신사업 추진 동력을 확보하기 위한 R&D 우수인력 선점을 목표로 하고 있다.
이번 채용은 AI를 활용한 사전 인터뷰를 진행함으로써 평가 객관성을 높일 예정이다. 지원자에게 질문을 하면 응답 과정에서 지원자의 표정, 행동, 음성 등 비언어적 요소를 AI를 통해 분석하는 방식이다.
지원자를 보다 더 면밀하고 정확히 평가하기 위해 기존에 서류 전형과 직무 면접 사이에 진행하던 전화 인터뷰 방식을 AI 활용 화상 인터뷰 방식으로 변경했다.
현대차 관계자는 “이번 대규모 경력 채용은 전동화를 비롯해 급변하고 있는 미래 모빌리티 생태계에서 연구개발 역량을 확보하기 위한 것”이라며 “기존 사업영역뿐만 아니라 신사업 부문 R&D 역량 강화를 통해 모빌리티 시장을 선도할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다”고 전했다.
한편, 현대차는 작년 9월부터 소프트웨어 경력 개발자를 매월 모집·채용하고 있다. 대졸 신입 채용의 경우, 지원자의 편의성을 높이고자 지난 7월부터 매 홀수월의 1일마다 현대차 채용 홈페이지를 통해 일괄 모집하고 있다. 오는 9월 중 모집 공고를 게시할 예정이다.
