파주소방서는 5일 소속 간부 24명을 대상으로 파주시에 위치한 이이 유적(자운서원)을 방문하여 문화재 탐방과 함께 소통 간담회를 진행했다.
이번 간담회의 주된 목적은 경·력·공(경청, 역지사지, 공감)의 자세를 강조하며, 출근하고 싶은 파주소방서를 만들기 위해 소통하고 화합하고자 노력하는 정찬영 소방서장의 추진으로 진행되었다.

진행순서는 역사 속 청렴 유적지를 직접 탐방하며, 우리 조상들의 청렴함을 몸소 느끼고 공무원으로서 갖추어야 할 정신 자세를 고취시킴과 동시에 파주소방서 간부들이 자유롭게 의견을 교환하고 소통하는 의미 있는 시간을 가졌다.
또한 파주소방서 관내의 중요문화재를 직접 현장에서 확인하며, 화재에 대해 선제 대응하고 현장에서 능숙한 업무수행을 하기 위해 현문현답 화재예방 안전컨설팅이 함께 진행되었다.
정찬영 파주소방서장은 “실제 청렴했던 조상들을 몸소 느낌과 동시에 소통하고 화합하는 자리를 가져 내부 청렴도 향상에 좋은 계기가 된 것 같다”며 “또한 이번 간담회를 통해 시민의 생명과 재산뿐만 아니라 우수한 문화재 보존을 위한 화재예방의 중요성과 소방관으로서의 의무와 책임을 다짐하는 계기가 되었다.”고 말했다.파주=박정호기자
