[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도의회 의회운영위원회(신종철 위원장)는 10일부터 11일까지 1박2일의 일정으로 밀양시 일원에서 운영위원회 역점 추진사항 논의 및 의원 의정활동 역량 제고를 위한 연찬회를 실시했다.

이번 연찬회에서는 사전에 국회 및 타 시·도의회를 방문해 벤치마킹한 의회운영 전반에 대한 우수사례 등을 공유하고, 개선과제 등 향후 운영방안 등을 논의했다.

이어 연찬회 기간 중 밀양아리랑우주천문대, 나노융합센터, 의열체험관을 방문해 시설현황과 현안사항 등을 청취하고 도의회 차원에서 지원할 수 있는 방안을 같이 고민했다.

신종철 의회운영위원장(산청, 국민의힘)은 “이번 연찬회를 통하여 향후 제12대 전반기 의회운영 활성화 방안을 모색하고, 특히 의원상호간과 상임위원회간의 정보교류와 소통을 통해 의정활동의 수준을 한 단계 더 높이는 기회가 됐다”고 강조했다.
