브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= CJ프레시웨이는 기업 준법경영의 평가 기준인 ‘컴플라이언스 경영시스템(ISO37301)’ 인증을 받았다고 31일 밝혔다.
이번에 신규 획득한 컴플라이언스 경영시스템 인증은 국제표준화기구(ISO)가 제정한 기준에 따라 기업의 컴플라이언스 정책과 리스크 관리 체계를 평가하는 기준의 역할을 한다. 기업이 법을 준수하고 윤리경영을 실천함으로써 잠재적 위험 요소로부터 조직과 임직원을 보호하는 체계와 활동 전반에 대한 내용이다.
CJ프레시웨이는 글로벌 인증기관인 로이드인증원(LRQA)의 심사를 거쳐 해당 인증을 획득했다. 이달 30일에는 서울 마포구 상암동 본사에서 CJ프레시웨이 최석중 경영지원실장, 로이드인증원 이일형 대표 등이 참석한 가운데 인증 수여식을 진행했다.
CJ프레시웨이는 준법경영 통제 시스템의 적합성, 내부 심사의 체계성 면에서 긍정적인 평가를 얻었다. 전담 조직을 꾸려 내부 의사소통을 위한 다양한 활동을 전개한 것도 주효했다.

CJ프레시웨이는 컴플라이언스 경영시스템 부문을 비롯해 앞서 획득한 인증 체계를 유지하며 지속가능경영 실천에 더욱 적극적으로 나설 계획이다. 기후변화 대응을 위해 온실가스 및 폐기물 배출량을 줄이고, 안전한 근무 환경을 보장하기 위해 현장 점검을 지속해서 강화하는 등 사업 전반에 걸친 노력의 과정에서 준법의 가치를 더욱 강조하겠다는 목표다.
