[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남 18개 시군 순방중인 박완수 도지사는 31일 도민 현장소통과 상생협력 강화를 위해 양산시를 방문했다.
양산 방문은 지난 17일 산청, 30일 하동에 이어 세 번째다.
양산비즈니스센터 컨벤션홀에서 진행된 ‘도지사-양산시민과의 대화’에는 나동연 양산시장, 이종희 양산시의회 의장, 경남도의회 의원 등 기관대표 18명, 단체 및 지역대표 44명, 시민 등 300여명이 참석했다.
나동연 양산시장은 이날 간담회에서 문화예술의 전당 건립, 부울경 국립수목원 조성, 웅상~상북 지방도 1028호선 국도승격 등 제9대 양산시정 핵심사업에 대해 설명하고 웅상센트럴파크 조성, 남양산 청소년문화의집 건립 등 내년 도비 확보가 필요한 사업 등 10개 사업을 건의했다.
박 도지사는 “주요 현안사업의 추진 필요성을 공감하고 경남에서 인구가 늘고 있는 유일한 도시인 양산시가 더욱 크고 발전할 수 있도록 현안 해결과 국·도비 확보에 적극 협조하겠다”고 답했다.
특히 추석을 앞둔 이날 박 도지사는 간담회 후 민생경제 점검을 위해 양산 남부시장을 방문해 참기름 등 성수용품 장보기를 마친 후, 전통시장 매니저 지원 확대 등 상인들의 건의에도 귀 기울이는 등 현장 중심의 소통행보를 계속했다.
나동연 시장은 “지역발전과 미래경쟁력 강화를 위해서는 경남도와 상호연계 협력해 상생발전을 해야한다”며 “도정혁신과 경남발전을 위해서도 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
박 도지사는 양산이 경남 발전을 견인할 중심도시로 성장하고 있다며 전기차 핵심부품 산업의 생태계 조성, 4차 산업 선도기업 유치 등 지역산업의 발전과 함께 소아전문응급의료센터 설치, 양산수목원 조성, 도로와 철도 확충 등 정주기반 강화에 대한 지원 의지도 밝혔다.
