‘동북아 중심도시 창원 실현’ 목표

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시가 2일 민선8기 첫 직원 정례조회를 개최해 ‘동북아 중심도시 창원 실현’을 위해 전 직원들이 함께 노력해 줄 것을 당부했다.

홍 시장은 “4차 산업혁명 1번지, 세계 4대 미항, 세계 7대 항만물류도시, 대한민국 2대 권역 중심도시를 시정목표로 정하고 경남의 수부도시로서 무한한 잠재력을 가지고 있는 창원을 직원 여러분과 힘을 합쳐 동북아 중심도시로 만들어 나가겠다”고 말했다.

이번 정례조회는 코로나19 재확산 움직임에 따라 제한된 인원으로 진행하고 원거리의 구청 및 읍면동 직원들을 위해 온라인을 통해 참여할 수 있도록 했다.

또한 시는 정례조회 종료 후, 민선8기 청렴한 공직문화 조성을 위해 산업자원부 감사담당관실 정경화 사무관을 초청해 ‘반부패·청렴교육’을 실시했다.

이번 교육은 공직생활과 밀접하게 연관되어 있는 각종 반부패 법령 중심으로 진행됐으며 특히 최근에 개정된 청탁금지법, 공무원 행동강령 등을 중점적으로 다뤘다.

홍남표 시장은 “청렴은 공직자가 갖추어야 할 기본적인 덕목이자 의무이다”며“올바른 청렴가치관은 공직사회에 대한 신뢰도를 높여 시민에게 믿음을 주는 만큼 전 직원은 청렴마인드 확립을 위해 노력해달라”고 말했다.
