브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 국민의힘은 15일 문재인 정부의 당시 신재생 에너지 사업 예산 부실관리 및 부당대출과 관련해 맹비판하고 나섰다.
권성동 원내대표는 이날 국회 본관에서 열린 비상대책위원회 회의에서 "문재인 정부의 신재생에너지 정책 이면에는 비리 복마전이 있었다. 전반적인 부실 사업이자 비리의 온상"이라고 밝혔다.
권성동 원내대표는 "허위 세금계산서, 농지에 불법 태양광 패널 설치, 공사비 부풀리기 등 온갖 범법행위로 점철됐다"면서 "위법 부당사례가 2267건이 나왔고 부당 지출 자금만 2000억원이 넘는다. 사업 예산의 70%는 태양광 등 신재생에너지 사업에 집중됐다"고 지적했다.
이어 그는 "전수조사와 책임자 처벌은 물론 과거 사례처럼 운동권과 시민단체로 이어졌던 태양광 사업 비리 여부도 조사해야 한다"며 "보조금 따먹기로 전락한 신재생에너지 사업을 재검토해야 한다. 부정수급에 대한 징벌적 환수 조치도 검토해야 한다"고 강조했다.
그는 또한 "정책적 오판으로 비리가 발생한건지, 아니면 비리를 만들기 위해 의도적으로 잘못된 사업을 입안했는지 등 모두 명명백백하게 밝혀야 한다"면서 "에너지 정책은 모든 산업의 근간이자 안보의 영역인데, 이것이 혈세 사기의 대상이 된다는 것은 용납할 수 없다. 국가의 미래를 위해 근절해야 한다"고 거듭 강조했다.
성일종 정책위의장은 "문재인 정권은 탈원전 문제점을 지적한 보고서도 은폐하며 탈원전 정책을 추진하더니 신재생에너지 사업마저도 위법과 부실 운영했다"며 "문재인 정권의 탄소중립은 혈세를 이용한 특정업체 배불리기용이었나"라고 꼬집었다.
성일종 의장은 "정부가 전국을 전주조사하기로 한 만큼 신속하고 명명백백하게 수사해 법적 책임을 묻고 국민 혈세를 철저히 환수해야 한다"면서 "향후 국정감사 등 무엇보다 바쁜 시기이지만, 정부 역량을 총동원해 국민 기만을 뿌리 뽑아야 한다"고 했다.
양금희 원내대변인도 이날 브리핑을 통해 "1차 표본조사에서 드러난 비리가 이 정도니 전체로 확장하면 낭비된 예산은 수조원에 이를 것으로 추정된다. 게다가 월성원전 경제성 조작 의혹까지 받고 있다"며 "이마저 사실로 드러난다면 혈세 도둑질을 위해 대국민 사기극을 자행한 것으로, 국기문란 수준의 대역죄라 할 법하다"고 비판했다.
한편 윤석열 대통령도 이날 출근길에 기자들과 만나 "어려운 분들을 위한 복지, 또 그분들을 지원하는 데 쓰여야 될 국민 혈세가 이런 '이권 카르텔' 비리에 사용됐다는 점이 참 개탄스럽다"며 "법에 위반되는 부분들은 정상적인 사법 시스템을 통해서 처리될 것으로 생각한다"고 말했다.
